Job Description
This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and financial education, and achieving lending, servicing, transactional banking, and insurance sales targets through marketing and selling Old Mutual products.
The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through their own efforts.
* Meet monthly sales targets for lending, transactional banking, and insurance.
* Service existing Old Mutual policies, facilitate claims, and address customer complaints to meet Net Promoter Score (NPS) requirements.
* Check loan application documentation for accuracy, authenticity, compliance, and completeness.
* Accurately capture all client information on Summit as per loan application and supporting documents.
* Suspend or reject loan applications as needed, and re-quote when necessary.
* Report suspicious or fraudulent loan applications to the Branch Manager.
* Explain the Loan Application Process to clients for better understanding.
* Explain Terms and Conditions of Old Mutual Finance Products to clients.
* Issue copies of Contracts/Agreements to clients and print loan agreements for signatures.
* Correct altered loan application information, rework, and reprint for client signatures.
* Follow up on clients with missed installments.
* Meet collection and arrears targets for lending products.
* Educate clients on responsible credit use and money management.
* Establish new business pipelines through marketing, lead generation, and cross-selling.
* Adhere to internal regulations and legislative requirements to ensure quality and mitigate risks.
* Facilitate intra-branch referrals and build mutually beneficial relationships with other units.
* Provide excellent face-to-face and telephonic customer service.
* Project a professional image of Old Mutual Finance through dress code, behavior, and conduct.
* Build sustainable relationships to enhance brand reputation.
* Deliver on daily production standards, and adhere to service and quality standards.
* Process lending products and verify required information.
Minimum Requirements
* National Senior Certificate or equivalent NQF level 4.
* At least 1 year of sales or service experience, preferably in retail, banking, or financial industries.

Ability to sell, communication skills, knowledge of company and credit policies, customer-centric selling, digital savviness, interpersonal relationship management, numeracy.

Education
National Certification (Nat Cert) required.
