What we are looking for:
We are seeking two highly capable professionals with demonstrated experience and a strong understanding of local government functions, roles, and processes, particularly in the areas of animal management and local laws.
Position Roster Details
PN Community Ranger - Weekend Roster
This position is a weekend roster where you will not be rostered on a Monday and Tuesday. You will have a Wednesday rostered day Off once a fortnight.
PN Community Ranger - Weekday Roster
This position will require you to work Monday to Friday with a Friday rostered day off once a fortnight.
What your day will look like:
* Responding to and undertaking investigations in accordance with relevant State legislation and local laws, and in accordance with Council policies and procedures.
* Undertaking routine patrols, surveys and programs as required, or as directed.
* Assist in the delivery of services at animal management facilities.
* Respond to public enquiries on animal welfare and management issues and negotiate to achieve positive outcomes for Council and our community

What you'll need for success:
* Demonstrated experience as a Compliance Officer/Ranger/Animal Control Officer or similar; or
* Demonstrated experience in a non-affiliated investigations based role
* A high level of customer service experience
* Proficiency with corporate software, such as Microsoft Office.
* Previous Animal Handling experience
What's nice to have:
