Key Role Summary
The Operations Technical Officer position is a critical component of our team's success, providing technical support and expertise in construction and maintenance across the transmission/distribution network.
* Key responsibilities include ensuring all team members have necessary training, coordinating external and local training, and managing tools and equipment for safe and efficient field operations.
This includes conducting training courses, assessing on-site training, preparing technical reports, and participating in workshops to provide operational input and shape effective practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a Certificate III in ESI Power Systems, Distribution Cable Jointing, or Electrical Workers Licence, as well as 6+ years of specialist technical experience in networks construction, maintenance, and operations field practices and procedures.
Candidates should also demonstrate sound communication skills and be willing to work and travel to other depot locations.
