We have a delightful opportunity available now for a hardworking and enthusiastic 1st Year Apprentice Baker/Bakers Assistant to join our team at Bakers Delight Castletown-Townsville

At Bakers Delight, our Apprentice Bakers are responsible for:
* Baking and presenting quality product to meet changing customer needs
* Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery
* Providing delightful customer service when required
* Assisting with stock control and production expenses
To be considered for this 'roll', you will need to:
* Have a passion for baking
Be willing to enter into an apprenticeship, or demonstrate successful completion of prior learning modules, if already undertaking an apprenticeship.
* Must be reliable.
* Be a morning person Shifts commence at 6am.
* Have a positive attitude, love working in a team environment and learning new skills
* Be prepared to work hard and love getting your hands dirty.
* Thrive working in a fast-paced environment.
* Be available to work a 7-day rotating roster.
* Have basic literacy and numeracy skills.
* Weekend work with penalty rates available.
*Junior candidates accepted (school leavers)
*Adult candidates accepted
*Female candidates accepted
*Include resume with a cover-letter expressing your interest is a requirement for selection.
*To be eligible for an Australian Apprenticeship you must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident. Apprentices will receive formal training and support from day one.
*Anyone is eligible for Bakers Assistant role
