MPC Consulting Engineers are looking for our next Civil / Structural Draftsperson to join the team in Newcastle East.
Whether you're just starting out in the industry, currently studying drafting or engineering at TAFE, or already have years of experience producing Civil / Structural documentation – we'd love to hear from you.
We're after someone who enjoys practical problem solving, takes pride in detailed work, and wants to be involved in a huge variety of interesting Civil / Structural projects.

Our office is located in Newcastle East, surrounded by Newcastle Beach, Foreshore Park and the Harbour. The area provides a great chance for outdoor exercise or a swim before work, at lunch, or after work.
The Role
Depending on your level of experience, your role may include:
* Preparing Civil / Structural drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit
* Preparing plans and details for residential, commercial and industrial projects
* Working alongside engineers and other draftspersons
* Learning Civil / Structural systems and construction methods
* Assisting with project coordination and revisions
* Developing your technical drafting skills across a wide range of projects
For trainees and apprentices, full training and mentoring will be provided as you develop your skills.
