AECOM's Water Business Line across the East Coast of Australia is experiencing sustained growth, underpinned by a strong pipeline of water infrastructure projects. We offer design, engineering, and advisory services that shape how water and related assets are planned, built, and operated.

Qualifications
Who are we looking for? Expressions of interest from professionals at all career stages — from recent graduates and emerging engineers to established technical specialists and senior leaders — with expertise in Ground Engineering and Tunnelling across the water sector. This includes, but is not limited to:
* Geotechnical / Ground Engineering specialists
* Tunnelling Engineers, Design & Construction Leads
* Tunnel Project Managers / Technical Leads
* Principal / Senior Ground & Tunnelling Engineers
* Field and Site Engineers (Geotech / Tunnels)
* Modelling, Site Investigation & Groundwater Specialists

Where you could work
We have opportunities across multiple cities on the East Coast — including Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne — with flexible working arrangements and hybrid models where appropriate.
What We're Looking For
We welcome expressions of interest from candidates with:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering or associated disciplines.
* Demonstrated experience or interest in ground engineering and/or tunnelling within water, civil or underground infrastructure contexts.
* A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong teamwork skills.
* Professional registration (e.g., CPEng), chartership or equivalent recognised experience (desirable — not essential).
* Capability to contribute technically and strategically at project, program or network level.
