Stowe Australia is seeking interest from a High Voltage Electrical Technician with a strong technical & practical experience in maintaining, testing and servicing of High Voltage equipment to join our Western Sydney team.
About the Role…
Our Western Division office located in Penrith specialises in high voltage infrastructure works, as well as high and low voltage testing, maintenance, and commissioning.
We carry out small, medium, and large-scale projects for our premium client base and provide a rapid response 24-hour service for breakdowns.
This role will require you to:
5. Perform all works in a safe, effective, and productive manner.
6. Always perform work in accordance with Project Specific Risk Management Plan (PSRMP)
7. Report all unsafe practices, safety hazards, injuries, and incidents immediately to your Supervisor
8. Complete Inspection & Testing Procedures
9. Be computer literate and maintain up to date paperwork
10. Ensure compliance to all relevant Australian Standards
11. Maintain ongoing skills development and Electrical licencing requirements
12. Ensure Isolations are conducted in accordance with Stowe Australia’s mandatory 4 stages of isolation procedure
13. Ensure all electrical work is conducted in accordance with the Stowe Australia Arc Flash Clothing requirements.

About you…
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
14. Demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of High Voltage testing throughout the employee engagement process.
15. Have experience in High Voltage switching
16. Extensive experience in the maintenance of transformers, switchboards, ring main units, circuit breakers, substation / industrial control systems and power factor correction equipment.
17. Current unrestricted NSW Electrical License
18. A self-motivated approach with an ability to work unsupervised.
19. Current CPR & LV Rescue Certificate
20. Construction Industry General Safety Induction
21. Current Drivers Licence
22. Good communication skills – interpersonal & organisational
23. Reliable and punctual attendance to work
