In this role, you'll help strengthen Aboriginal voices and improve outcomes across Transport for NSW. You will create culturally informed, strengths based communication and storytelling that clearly shows the impact of our work for and with communities, partners and staff. You'll plan, produce and coordinate accessible content and campaigns that highlight progress, support engagement, and align with Aboriginal Outcomes priorities.
Responsibilities
About You
You are an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. You have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience. You are skilled at creating culturally informed written and visual content for diverse audiences, with strong plain English writing and editing skills. You're confident working with Aboriginal cultural protocols and using respectful, strengths based communication with Aboriginal stakeholders. You are proficient with common content and design tools, including Microsoft 365, presentation software and basic graphic/layout programs. You're organised and able to manage content calendars, coordinate tasks and meet deadlines across multiple channels. You're capable of turning research and feedback into clear messages, briefs and campaign materials. You are a natural storyteller who brings visual, digital and cross cultural communication strengths, along with optimism and cross functional thinking.

Applications close 11:59 PM Sunday 21 June 2026. This role can be filled through remote working and can be based anywhere in New South Wales. The role requires in person attendance on particular days of the week at your local TfNSW office. This is an Aboriginal-identified role as it involves the development and delivery of services and programs which impact or require liaison with Aboriginal people and/or communities.
