About the role
Picton Brothers' is looking for experienced Carpenters to join our team in Tamworth, NSW. As a full-time contractor, you will be responsible for constructing patios, glass rooms, decks and other outdoor structures. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable construction company and contribute to exciting new building projects in the local area.
What you'll be doing
* Interpret drawings to plan and implement construction projects
* Measure, cut, and assemble Aluminium, Steel and other materials to build structures
* Install doors, windows, flooring as needed
* Collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to high quality standards
* Maintain a safe and organised work environment
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction methods and processes
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Carpenter or Builder, preferably in the construction of patios, glass rooms, and decks
* Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety protocols
* Ability to read and interpret drawings
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
* A current NSW carpenters/ builder's licence
