About the Role
Juniper is seeking a talented Communications Officer to join our team and help protect and enhance our organisation's reputation and brand. In this role, you'll coordinate and support internal and external communications, public relations, and marketing activities that make a real impact across our aged care services.
Key Responsibilities
* Research, write, and edit engaging corporate communication materials including brochures, newsletters, media releases, and website content
* Coordinate and support public relations initiatives, events, and community engagement programs that strengthen Juniper's brand presence
* Assist in developing and implementing internal and external communication strategies to promote key messages across multiple channels
* Manage and create content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives
* Contribute to brand development and support marketing campaigns, fundraising, and sponsorship initiatives
* Assist in producing marketing collateral such as brochures, videos, and digital content to enhance visibility and engagement
* Working within brand book and tone guides with the ability to create content that aligns with messaging.
* Help organise and manage promotional events, launches, and open days
* Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health requirements and Juniper policies
What You'll Bring
* Tertiary qualifications in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related discipline
* Highly developed written communication skills with the ability to research, write, proof-read and edit a diverse range of internal and external communication materials.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including staff, managers, community groups, clients, media and suppliers.
* Demonstrated time management skills and a high level of organisational ability.
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
* High level of ability with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
* Photography and video skills (desirable).
* Knowledge of aged care or not-for-profit sectors is an advantage
