About the role Several high-performing mortgage brokerages and financial services businesses are expanding their operations teams due to continued growth. We are looking for experienced Settlements Officers with strong mortgage brokerage experience to manage high-volume residential settlements and keep transactions progressing smoothly through to completion. These roles suit candidates who understand the lending process end-to-end and are confident coordinating brokers, lenders, solicitors, conveyancers and clients across fast-moving settlement pipelines. This is not a purely administrative role - it requires strong commercial awareness, attention to detail and the confidence to proactively manage issues before they impact settlement outcomes. What you'll be doing Managing residential loan files from formal approval through to settlement Monitoring settlement pipelines, critical dates and outstanding conditions Liaising with brokers, lenders, solicitors, conveyancers, developers and clients throughout the settlement process Reviewing loan documents, contracts and settlement documentation for accuracy and completeness Managing valuations, pricing requests, variations and settlement requirements Identifying and escalating settlement risks, delays or missing information early Providing clear and timely updates to all stakeholders Working across multiple files and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment What we're looking for 2 years’ experience in settlements, broker support, loan processing or mortgage administration Strong understanding of the mortgage lending and settlement process from approval through to completion Previous experience within a mortgage brokerage is highly regarded Ability to confidently manage external stakeholders and drive outcomes Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage volume effectively Excellent communication and attention to detail Ability to work proactively, prioritise effectively and take ownership of files Experience using ApplyOnline, MyCRM, Mercury Nexus or similar platforms is advantageous What we offer Multiple opportunities available nationally across high performing boutique brokerages, property groups and financial services firms in the HNW space.
