The mission of Business Development is to develop the market in ANZ:
Prospect, identify, and develop new sales opportunities.
Build a network, develop & maintain strong relationships with partners, system integrators, end users & consultants to detect and influence opportunities early.
Act as SPOC for the end customer.
Main Accountabilities
Manage processes for creating quotes, managing sales cycles in CRM, developing and negotiating proposals and agreements, and tracking business opportunities. Provide regular forecasts, market intelligence, and competitive analysis to management.
Support local partners and customers through sales stages with both commercial and technical advice. Translate customer needs into winning solutions and offerings.
Collaborate with product management and technical teams on multiple projects in an international environment.
Guide field marketing on outreach strategies.
Participate in training, trade shows, and regional events.
Grow sales and funnel in targeted countries by increasing end-user accounts or acquiring new customers.
Support new product launches by evangelizing solutions.
Establish contact and secure demo opportunities with prospects and close deals during visits or events.
Follow up on leads from campaigns.
Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate value propositions.
Identify and report showstoppers to management for additional support.
Maintain up-to-date CRM records, report weekly visits and funnel management.
Monitor market and technology factors, providing intelligence to relevant teams.
Required Competencies
Bachelor or Master degree (business, marketing, engineering) or equivalent experience.
3–5 years proven sales experience in related industry/technology.
IT knowledge (networking) is a plus.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Collaboration skills for interaction with various team roles.
Good hunting skills.
High-level sales negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
Results-oriented, budget-conscious, and metrics-driven.
