Job Description
Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites are looking for a Cluster General Manager to lead multiple teams across a portfolio of properties, including Cairns, Townsville and Port Douglas.
In this pivotal role, you will bring strategic vision, operational expertise, and a people-first mindset to drive commercial success and deliver exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Senior Hotel Management and will lead by example and empower their teams to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Oversee day-to-day profitability, presentation and operations of multiple properties
* Play a crucial role in coaching, developing and managing the property teams to achieve their highest potential
* Analyse data to drive revenue, improve RevPAR, and reduce operational costs
* Maintain accountability for the overall efficiency and performance of the properties
* Manage body corporate and guest relations while maintaining compliance with brand, safety, and sustainability standards
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Extensive experience in multi-property or senior hotel management
* Demonstrated financial acumen, with a strong focus on driving revenue
* Strategic business acumen and commercial reality
* A proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and minimising expenses
* Demonstrated achievement in recruiting, driving and supporting teams to ensure a high performing team culture including an extensive portfolio in successful coaching and development
* Passion for innovation, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction
* Clear and confident communication, both written and verbal
* Committed to continuous improvement and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
