About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Site Engineer for a major NBN upgrade project in Canberra. As a key member of the project team, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of this critical infrastructure project.

Your Responsibilities:
* Coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion
* Engage with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve outcomes
* Monitor construction progress and report delays or issues to senior engineers
* Manage and reconcile the BOQ based on construction progress
* Assist in final contract sum reconciliation with project engineers
* Report and track construction variations
* Verify BOQ revisions align with CWPs and the Construction Report
* Ensure timely delivery of completion artefacts and closure of CARs and defects
* Identify and communicate field issue trends to the Project Engineer
* Participate in Lessons Learnt and Innovation workshops
* Prepare material orders and manage material issuance and reconciliation
* Validate FSAM accruals with the Project Engineer for month-end reporting

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with relevant experience in NBN or Telco projects. You must also have knowledge of construction and cost management principles, as well as an understanding of project environments and meeting client deadlines.
