Geologist Role Overview
We are seeking a Geologist to join our Technical Services team.
* Maintaining geological models
The key focus of this role is maintaining and developing accurate geological models for operational teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, mapping and supporting these teams in their operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain existing geological data systems ensuring they remain up-to-date with site information
2. Frequent site visits to ensure compliance with safety standards, data collection through direct observation and inspection methods or other data sources, collaborate with geoscientists and engineers on understanding surface expression indicators associated
with specific ore types, processing this knowledge into usable outputs that inform mine planning activities. Record observations in prescribed formats such as technical reports.
