About the Role
We are seeking a driven Sales & Retention Account Manager to help grow our business within a defined sector.
This role is unique in its focus on market creation, educating prospects and demonstrating the value of innovative data solutions.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of B2B sales experience, a strong understanding of consultative sales and solution-based sales environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers across your sector.
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow revenue and expand our client base.
* Develop tailored strategies to introduce new products and solutions, helping to establish us in untapped markets.
* Conduct regular client check-ins to enhance engagement, provide training and ensure satisfaction.
* Leverage insights from client interactions to propose innovative, data-driven solutions.
* Achieve sales and retention targets, focusing on driving growth and new business.
* Collaborate with internal teams to support the rollout of new offerings and pilot programs.
* Maintain detailed records of client interactions, performance metrics and pipeline progress.

* You'll also bring:
o A strong understanding of consultative sales and solution-based sales environments.
o The ability to engage clients with new ideas and articulate the value of unique solutions.
o Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
o A proactive attitude and a focus on achieving results.
o Experience introducing new products or expanding into new markets is highly desirable.
o A driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
