Talent International are currently recruiting for an EL1 Digital Media Assistant Director to work for our Government client based in Geelong. The position is an initial 12-month contract paying $585 per day + Super.
**The Team**:
The Media, Marketing and Digital Communications branch enhances the Agencies' reputation amongst key stakeholders with a focus on participants. They deliver strategic and impactful media, marketing and digital solutions, supported by market research and insights.
The Digital Media team positively position the Agency brand through high-quality digital media content that engages, educates, and informs our audiences.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Developing video and podcast products as media, marketing, communications and campaign tools to influence and educate
- Producing podcasts, including series planning, producing content, podcast script and sign off from SMEs, podcast host and guest procurement, all technical requirements, and hosting channels (apple / Spotify)
- Scriptwriting, storyboarding, reviewing and editing strategic video and podcast content
- Reviewing and analysing video and podcast performance metrics to evaluate and adjust content and inform strategies
- Establishing governance and standard operating procedures for in-house video and podcasting
- Stewardship of physical assets, including video and audio capture equipment, editing systems and the Agency Studio.
- Overseeing appropriate archival and audit procedures for video and podcast artefacts
- Management of the Agencies' external and internal YouTube channels
- Setting strategic priorities for the production team
- Understanding and shaping internal video production and how it interacts with internal business areas
- Working with senior executive to create internal video content
- Managing the digital media budget and tender process with external animation contractor
- Managing videography, video brand, self-filming, accessibly guides
- Managing video / podcast partnerships with providers, DROs and Auslan contracts
- Championing video accessibility best practice within the Agency
