ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for a fully qualified Air Conditioning and Refrigeration technician to join our team.
The work is varied, challenging and interesting. You'll be working within a team environment on multiple projects - from Government sites to large scale commercial projects.
This is a full-time role based in Charters Towers.
DUTIES:
* Installation and service of split, ducted, cassette, package/split package and VRV/VRF air conditioners.
* Service and repairs to cool rooms, chillers and freezing equipment.
* Conduct servicing, maintenance and repairs to various equipment.
* Keep accurate job records.
SKILLS
* Reliable, punctual and well presented.
* Positive attitude.
* Possess good literacy and numeracy skills.
* Good communication skills.
* Great work ethic and attention to detail.
* Committed to safe work practices.
REQUIRED LICENCES
* Certificate III in Air conditioning and refrigeration
* ARC refrigerant handling licence
* Queensland General Construction Induction (White Card).
* Current Australian manual drivers Licence.
* Working with Children card (Blue card).
* Current CPR/LVR certificate.
* National Police Check certificate.
* We can offer support in obtaining the above for the right applicant if you don't currently hold each licence.
