Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Sales and Despatch Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our business by providing exceptional customer service and support.
1. Despatch Coordination:
* Schedule deliveries, prepare transport paperwork, track logistics, and maintain delivery schedules.
* Receive and manage incoming and outgoing stock.
* Assist with loading/unloading trucks and occasional van pick-ups or deliveries.
2. Stock & Quality Management:
* Maintain stock traceability, including tag creation and management.
* Conduct regular stocktakes.
* Assess quality of incoming stock and perform final outgoing quality checks before despatch.
3. Sales Administration:
* Process customer orders and prepare sales documentation (quotes, sales orders, etc.).
* Keep records up to date and prepare routine logistics reports.
* Maintain a clean, organized depot environment.
4. Customer Service:
* Communicate regularly with customers to confirm order details, delivery expectations, and product specifications.
* Liaise with Sales and Operations to ensure smooth order flow.
