This is a key leadership opportunity where you will support driving Beca's strategic growth in the Defence Market in Australia, with a focus on Canberra.
Your primary responsibility will be advancing our local presence in the Defence sector, aligning with our broader strategy to expand our impact in Australia.
You will champion Beca in Canberra as a Branch Manager, facilitating meetings and supporting the Water Market strategy. This includes growing the local team and achieving business objectives.
As a leader, you will report to the General Manager, Defence, Industrial and Advisory, and drive the strategic initiatives of the business line, ensuring alignment with Beca's overarching goals and objectives.
You will foster and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
You will work directly with the Defence Market Director and future Water Market Director to develop and implement business development strategies to expand market presence in the ACT, including identifying new business opportunities and securing new contracts.
You will oversee the financial performance of the business unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to meet revenue and profit targets.
You will grow a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture while ensuring the development and retention of key talent.
The secondary function of this role will include operational oversight, stakeholder liaison, community engagement, and commercial management.
