Job Description
This position is responsible for installation and maintenance of Copper and Optical Fibre Communications services for the Companies customers. The candidate must be capable of working on large projects as a part of a team and attending service breakdowns and be able to work independently.

Duties / Responsibilities
Installation of optical fibre and copper structured cabling
Termination of optical fibre and copper structured cabling
Testing and commissioning of optical fibre and copper cabling and communications equipment
Installation of communications cabinets and termination of cabling
Conduct preventative, corrective and break/fix maintenance activities for companies customers
Complete works efficiently and of a high quality to ensure customer deadlines and expectations are met
Communicate effectively with other RIC staff and contractors
Ability to complete tasks with little/no supervision
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with fellow workers and customers
Ensure WHS compliance according to RIC policies and SWMS
Requirements
Open Cablers Licence
Driver licence
WHS General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
PREFERABLE
Background in communication cabling installation in commercial/industrial projects
