The Role
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have excellent organisational skills and possess the ability to plan and prioritise tasks and work well under pressure. You should also ideally have a strong knowledge of theatre operations, equipment and maintenance and venue operations.
The successful applicant should work collaboratively across teams and manage all lighting, sound, audio-visual, staging and other equipment in the Performing Arts and Exhibition Venues at our school. You should also supervise the operation and safety procedures for use of the technical equipment used within these venues.

* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.

* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the maintenance and use of theatre technical equipment.
* Demonstrated broad-based knowledge of theatre operations, equipment and maintenance and venue operations.
* Demonstrated highly developed written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively liaise with individuals at all levels.
* Demonstrated high-level organisational, conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to provide innovative thinking in problem solving.
* Demonstrated experience or qualifications in lighting and/or sound.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
