The Roles
We are looking for Engineering and Site Supervision professionals, including Design Management and Leading Hands who will support our growth in Port Macquarie and surrounding regions.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Ensure the project is successfully completed within budget, on time and in accordance with contract requirements.
* Initiate and develop an effective working relationship with the client, stakeholders and project team members.
* Meet the specific requirements of the company's WHS, Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
* Manage the preparation and implementation of project specific plans (WHS, Quality and Environmental), ITP's and Safe Work Method Statements.
* Maintain records as necessary to ensure contractual compliance and efficient project management.
In addition, Engineering personnel will be responsible for:
* Manage procurement of consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers including FRP sub-contractors, electrical and mechanical sub-contractors/suppliers.
* Contract administration, including assessment of progress claims, variations, EOT's and RFI's.
* Prepare or provide input into monthly cost and project reports.
About you
You are an accomplished Engineer or Site Supervision professional with a passion for safety and delivering on time and under budget.
You will be able to demonstrate:
* Experience in civil infrastructure which could include water and / or sewerage treatment plants, industrial buildings, or other complex infrastructure projects.
* Leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead site-based teams.
* Strong team focus, consultation and communication skills.
* Experience managing sub-contractors and delivering complex infrastructure projects.
* Understanding of WHS legislation compliance and a demonstrated ability to implement WHS, Quality and Environmental Control Systems.
* Tertiary qualifications for are required for Engineering personnel.
