Your opportunity
We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant and Delivery Driver to join our Townsville team.
The ideal candidate will have previous delivery driving experience, strong customer service skills and excellent attention to detail. A manual open driver's licence is preferred.
This is a full‑time role, with occasional rostered Saturday morning shifts (8am–1pm).
As a Warehouse Assistant and Delivery Driver, you will report to the Store Manager and support the team by:
* Delivering customer and trade orders accurately and on time
* Assisting with administrative and point‑of‑sale tasks, including invoicing, goods receipting and sales processing
* Building positive relationships with customers and trade partners to support the ongoing growth of the brand
Your Role
Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing a consistently professional customer experience
* Using point‑of‑sale systems and computers to process and invoice orders
* Handling cash, including daily banking and petty cash management
* Checking incoming stock against delivery dockets
* Picking and packing customer orders
* Ensuring accuracy of items loaded into the delivery vehicle
* Delivering orders locally within expected timeframes
* Assisting with freight preparation for external carriers
* Maintaining warehouse presentation, including general cleaning duties
* Following Workplace Health and Safety procedures
* Managing customer enquiries and resolving issues where required
* Loading, unloading and keeping the delivery vehicle clean
* Supporting general warehouse and labour tasks
* Tinting and mixing paint as needed
