We are seeking a skilled Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating employee scheduling, responding to vacancies due to leave and other duties as directed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Shift Facilitation: Facilitate workers for all available shifts and fill unplanned shift vacancies due to sickness, leave, or training requirements.
* Data Entry: Complete data entry relating to employee schedules and client information.
* Employee Orientation: Provide orientation to new employees on work schedules and rostering matters.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Service Centre, Service Management, and Finance teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
* Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports/documentation as required.
Requirements:
* Scheduling Expertise: Ability to meet scheduling requirements in a fast-paced environment.
* Rostering Software: Ability to use rostering software effectively.
* Good Relations: Understanding of good employee relations principles.
* Organisational Skills: Proven organisational and time management skills.
* Tasmanian Knowledge: Familiarity with Tasmania's geographical layout.
* Communication Skills: Proven customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Computer Literacy: Basic computer literacy skills.
* Confidentiality: Experience in maintaining confidential information.
* Safety Obligations: Knowledge of work health and safety legislative obligations.
