Job Description
As a NDIS Registered Provider, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Leader to join our SIL houses team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in disability support and be passionate about making a difference in the lives of people living with disabilities.
They will be responsible for ensuring all participant supports and programs align with the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and supervise support staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring participant supports and programs align with NDIS standards and code of conduct
2. Mentoring support staff in strengths-based and person-centered approaches
3. Supervising support staff to assist participants with daily life activities
4. Developing support plans and planners to address meal preparation, community inclusion, and daily support needs
5. Monitoring documentation for accurate reporting and tracking information
6. Empowering participants to make choices, participate in their day, and grow independence
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Current Full South Australian Driver's Licence (essential)
* Certificate 4 Disability Support or minimum Certificate III in Individual Support
* Relevant NDIS/DHS checks and clearances
* Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
* Medication Administration Certificate
* Manual Handling Certificate
* Through Their Eyes Certificate
