About the Role
As a Technical Training Developer, you will play a key role in creating high‑quality technical training for dealership technicians across the GM ANZ network. Employed by MSX International and working within the GM ANZ Training Academy, you'll develop digital learning content, practical training activities, assessments, and technical resources that ensure our technicians are confident, capable, and aligned with GM global standards.

What You'll Be Doing
Content Development
* Design and update technical training materials including digital guides, presentations, and e‑learning storyboards.
* Develop quizzes, assessments, and practical evaluations for technician certification.
* Review and edit technical content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and instructional effectiveness.
Practical Training Support
* Create and maintain practical "on‑car" activities that reinforce classroom theory.
* Build setup guides to support consistent delivery across training centres.
Collaboration & Delivery
* Work closely with Instructional Designers, Master Technical Trainers, and wider stakeholders.
* Support training sessions as a technical subject‑matter expert when required.
* Participate in Train‑the‑Trainer workshops and capability‑building activities.
Continuous Improvement
* Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new GM models.
* Contribute to a culture of innovation, quality, and performance within the Academy.

What You'll Bring
Technical Expertise
* Strong knowledge of automotive systems (engines, transmissions, CAN Bus, electrical, diagnostics).
* Understanding of modern technologies: hybrid/EV, ADAS, infotainment, safety systems.
* High‑voltage experience (advantageous but not required).
* Practical workshop experience to connect theory to real‑world scenarios.
