Due to exciting growth in the business, we are looking for an enthusiastic Storeperson to join our high performing warehouse team based in Cairns QLD!
The purpose of this role is to provide functional support across key activities in receiving, picking, packing and dispatching goods against the business and supplier documentation, and complete other warehouse related duties such as forklift operation.
Your Key Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
* Picking, packing and dispatch of customer orders (freight management)
* All forklift operations in the warehouse
* Receiving, labeling and storing of incoming goods
* Conducting sorting, loading and unloading of vehicles
* Ensuring shelves are adequately stocked and displayed
* Assisting on the trade store counter and general housekeeping duties
* Data entry of customer information and orders
To Be Successful, You Will Have
* Previous experience in a warehouse environment desirable
* Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or store environment
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to be versatile with a ‘can do’ attitude
* Forklift license and experience essential
