Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Commercial Manager located in the Greater Melbourne or Sydney Areas and requires Australian Citizenship. The Commercial Manager will oversee Defence commercial and contractual aspects of projects, with the following experiences considered desirable:
* ASDEFCON suite
* Contract Change Proposals (CCP)
* ERP/SAP
* ANAO auditing
Responsibilities include managing contracts, facilitating business planning processes, conducting financial and operational analyses, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. This role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive efficient project execution and successful outcomes.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Law, or a relevant field
* Experience working within Government/Defence is highly desirable
* Proven expertise with the ASDEFCON suite including executing Survey and Quotes (S&Q) and Contract Change Proposals (CCP)
* Strong Analytical Skills and experience conducting financial and operational evaluations
* Proficiency in Business Planning to support decision-making and strategy development
* Demonstrated ability in Contract Management, including negotiation, compliance, and risk mitigation
* Skilled in Team Management with a focus on collaboration and leadership
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
