About the role
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Boilermaker/Welder to join our talented team at Bunbury Engineering Network. This is a casual role based in our modern workshop located in Bunbury, WA 6230. You will be responsible for performing a range of welding and boilermaking tasks to support the production and maintenance needs of our clients.
What you'll be doing
* Perform welding and fabrication work to a high standard, including TIG and FCAW welding techniques
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to carry out fabrication and repair tasks
* Operate various workshop machinery and equipment such as Power saw, grinders, and cutting and drilling tools
* Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure timely completion of projects
* Maintain a safe and organised work environment
What we're looking for
* Qualified boilermaker or welder with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience
* Proficiency in a range of welding techniques including TIG and FCAW welding
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Able to complete and weld test to both AS1554 and AS3992 standards
* Knowledge of workshop safety procedures and the ability to maintain a safe work environment
