The VCAA is a statutory body responsible to the Victorian Minister for Education, serving both government and non-government schools. We provide high quality curriculum, assessment and reporting for all Victorian student's birth to 18 years.
* Salary: $79,122- $96,073 pro rata (Plus Superannuation of 12%)
* Fixed Term until 19th September 2026
* Usual hours of work: Part time 0.6
* Usual work location: 200 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne
Role Purpose
The role supports print and online publishing activities, producing high-quality electronic and print publications, including VCE study designs and related curriculum materials, in line with VCAA templates and style guidelines. The successful applicant will provide advice on layout and design and maintain quality control across all publications. Working in a fast-paced environment, the position requires design expertise, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects within tight timelines. Well-developed project management skills are essential, and experience using Asana will be highly regarded.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential Experience – Desktop Publishing:
* Experience in publishing activities, including desktop publishing, preparing illustrations, sourcing, and manipulating images.
Essential Experience – Computer Skills:
* HTML
* Web content management systems.
* Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
* Knowledge of the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) and familiarity with curriculum materials and education publishing standards
* Experience in project management
