Rural Officers play a vital role in managing and growing a portfolio of rural clients. Their key responsibilities include:
* Independently and collaboratively with Rural Managers, they manage and grow a portfolio of rural clients.
* Annual credit reviews are completed to ensure the financial health of clients.
* Financial analysis is undertaken to inform business decisions.
* A portfolio of Rural Branch accounts is monitored and grown to increase revenue.
* An environment of continuous improvement is fostered through ongoing evaluation and development.
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of the rural industry, an understanding of banking/lending policies and procedures, and the ability to maintain strong relationships with key clients. Additionally, they must be capable of managing competing priorities and adapting to changing circumstances.
