As an Electronics and Communications Technician, you will be responsible for supporting satellite earth station antenna systems and associated telecommunications infrastructure. The role involves performing planned maintenance and inspections in accordance with work schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of equipment.
* Identify and repair or replace defective components to restore operational availability.
* Provide general support to site facilities and infrastructure as part of a multi-skilled team.
* Monitor and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment condition and operational performance.
Requirements:
* A technical or trade qualification in electronics and radio frequency communications is essential.
* Demonstrated experience in satellite communications is highly desirable.
* ACMA open cabling registration with structural, coaxial, and fibre optic endorsements is required.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for effective teamwork and collaboration.
