The Workshop Maintenance Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership and Safety
Oversee workshop performance, vehicle and equipment maintenance, cost recovery, quality, and compliance while demonstrating exemplary safety leadership behaviors.
* Team Management
Manage daily activities of employees to ensure safety and commitment to ongoing safety initiatives, coach, counsel, and discipline as needed, plan, monitor, and appraise job results.
* Quality and Compliance
Maintain staff job results by monitoring and promoting HSES & QA programs to achieve a safe and incident-free culture.
* Workflow Optimization
Control workflow for minimum vehicle downtime and maximum workshop output by anticipating customer needs and identifying opportunities to enhance the service experience.
* Team Performance
Ensure established work systems are in place for effective team performance.
Requirements:
* 5 years proven experience in workshop management within Fleet or Retail
* Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Inventory management, procurement, and stock control history
* Team player with excellent customer service skills
* Flexible approach to business commitments
* Able to build and maintain engaged and productive teams
