An exciting opportunity exists for Administration Officers to be part of the Brighter Beginnings Health and Development Checks team in SWSLHD. The Brighter Beginnings Health and Development Checks team provide health and development checks for 4 year old children enrolled in preschools or long day care services. We are looking for applicants who are able to operate in a fast-paced environment, are flexible, have a high level of customer service and excellent communication and organisational skills. The role provides administrative and clerical support to the project lead and multidisciplinary team within SWSLHD Brighter Beginnings Health and Development Checks as part of the broader administration team to facilitate smooth operation of the service.

The team is looking for skilled, motivated, committed administration officers who are collaborative, team players, flexible, able to operate in a fast-paced environment and who have excellent communication and organisational skills.



Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

* Extensive experience in the provision of administration, reception and switchboard skills as well as sound and accurate keyboard skills with working knowledge of computer programs (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Intranet/Internet and Email).
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload to complete a variety of competing tasks.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent customer services skills and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good understanding of issues and practices relating to client confidentiality.
* Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
