Overview
QP Clinical Audiologist | Audiometrist - Full Time - Toowoomba City role at Connect Hearing Australia. This permanent, full-time position is based at the World of Hearing clinic in Toowoomba, Queensland, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, in a state-of-the-art facility. You will help clients rediscover sound by delivering high-quality hearing care and services in a collaborative environment.

What will you be doing?
- Assessing and diagnosing the extent of client hearing loss using audiometric tests and a range of techniques.
- Reporting results of assessments in writing and making referrals to medical practitioners as needed.
- Recommending solutions for hearing impairment, including amplification, implantable devices, medical interventions, assistive listening devices, and providing aural rehabilitation programs.
- Providing counselling, advice and information to clients and families as part of treatment.
- Assisting with the development and management of noise control and hearing conservation strategies.
- Providing treatment and management of hearing and communication disorders, including age-related, disability-related, or acquired conditions.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
- University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification.
- Current membership (CCP) or eligible for membership (CCP) of AudA or ACAud.
- Current QP number.
- Solid audiological skills and knowledge.
- Excellent customer care and a passion for delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Ability to learn and adopt new software with training.
- Proven ability to achieve KPIs.
- Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to continued professional development.
- Good teamwork skills and ability to network with GPs and other allied health professionals.
