Mechanical & Electrical Trade Assistants - We want you
**Your new company**
Our client has been in operation since 1994 and are a national company that provide automation manufacturing and maintenance services.
**Your new role**
As an Electrical or Mechanical Trade Assistant you will work alongside qualified Electricians to provide maintenance and repairs to industrial electrical equipment such as switch boards, control panels, PLC's, relays, etc. You will be required to operate hand and power tools, read and interpret plans/drawings, assemble modular enclosure systems, and assist with wiring where required. Other duties will include preparing and unpacking materials, and general labouring.
This is a casual ongoing role that is located in 20 minutes south of the city.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Electrical or Mechanical background highly regarded
- Construction/Manufacturing/Mining background
- Hand and power tools knowledge
- High attention to detail
- Ability to follow diagrams and instructions
- A great 'can do' attitude and a willingness to learn
