Job Title:
Mental Health Clinician - Emergency Support
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team in Wagga Wagga. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering emergency mental health consultations, assessments and support services to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises.
You will work closely with the on-call consultant psychiatrist to develop plans to assist, support and guide emergency department clinicians in managing mental health consumers' risk, medications and plans for ongoing care.
In addition, you will be required to complete duties as a Police Ambulance Clinician Early Response (PACER) Clinician, conducting emergency assessments in community settings with police and ambulance services.

Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and deliver emergency mental health consultations, assessments and support services
* Work with the on-call consultant psychiatrist to develop plans for emergency mental health care

Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years experience working in the Mental Health profession
* Confident team player with an engaging personality aligning with NSW Health Core values – Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment
* Hold relevant Australian standard qualification
