The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Gardener to join our team at Hibiscus Noosa Outlook Village. This is a permanent full-time role.
Enjoy the picturesque surrounds of native bushland and spectacular coastline to friendly residents and resort-style quality amenities, Hibiscus Noosa Outlook offers a beautiful work environment that is nestled between Queensland's native bushland and panoramic coastline with easy access to beach and parks.
The Gardener will be required to deliver general lawn, garden and property maintenance, ensuring the village is properly kept for the enjoyment of the residents. Shifts run from 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
Working under the guidance of the Village Manager, you will execute all gardening activities such as:
- Maintenance of common garden areas including whipper snipping, weeding, pruning, picking up leaves/rubbish, green waste management, and tools/equipment maintenance.
As you will be working alongside our residents, a customer-service focus is essential, along with a genuine interest in assisting the elderly.
Your Background:
- Current Australian Driver's Licence- Demonstrated competence as a Gardener - weeding, pruning, planting, mowing, safe work practices for fertilisers and other chemicals- Hands-on landscaping experience, proficient in maintaining visually appealing outdoor spaces- Understanding of machinery use and tools required for the job- High organisation skills and the ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks whilst working independently- Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety legislation
