We currently have an opportunity for a Refrigeration Mechanic. Join our Base and Estate Management team based in Cairns and play a key role in the delivery of professional reactive and preventative maintenance deliverables. Reporting to EU Works Manager you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You'll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
* Service and repair chillers, BMS and chilled Water systems
* Maintain and repair everything from split systems to ducted and package systems as well as ventilation systems
* Service and repair commercial refrigeration equipment, including display cabinets, cold/freezer rooms
* Act a representative of Downer in all interactions with internal and external contacts
* Bring forward ideas and contribute to an innovative team
What You'll Bring
* 2 - 5 years post trade experience
* Trade qualified Refrigeration Technician (Cert III Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)
* Posses a valid, unrestricted driver's license
* Current first aid certificate
