Leading theatrical business looking to expand their finance operations locally. Opportunity for a hardworking and switched on Junior Financial Analyst who has a passion for data analysis, systems and process improvement.
You will report into the Finance Manager and your responsibilities will include, however not be limited to;
Extracting and analysing data for reporting
Assisting with tax compliance
Assisting with budgeting and ad hoc reporting
Preparing journal entries
Ongoing process improvement initiatives
Adhoc duties as required
To be considered for this role you will be (ideally) degree/TAFE qualified, coupled with some hands on experience in an analytical role heavily using excel and finance systems. Previous experience working as an Assistant Accountant with a passion to move into an Analyst role will also be looked upon favourably. You will have proven exposure to projects regarding systems and an ability to initiate and implement process improvement. You will also have strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
