We’re looking for an energetic and motivated Maintenance Officer to perform hands on maintenance activities at St George’s – Altona Meadows. This role requires to have previous building maintenance experience.
As an experienced Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for routine building and grounds maintenance. You will reporting to the Property Infrastructure Manager will ensure to maintain a safe and attractive living environment for our residents.
A typical day will have you:
4. Undertake hands on general ad hoc maintenance tasks across the building and grounds
5. Maintain compliance with a daily task list, scheduled building and grounds maintenance program
6. Coordinate contractors for relevant work
7. Maintain a safe and attractive living environment for residents within set guideline
8. Ensure the residential home is always presented to a high standard
9. Work collaboratively with the Residential Aged Care leaders and teams to deliver exceptional resident and community experience of the home
We’re looking for someone with:
10. Certificate/experience in a relevant trade
11. Extensive experience in a broad range of maintenance skills and have knowledge of building and grounds maintenance are essential
12. Experience using computers along with comprehensive and electronic building and maintenance management programs
13. Background in planned preventative maintenance program and document to fulfil Government and other regulatory requirements
14. Knowledge of OH&S regulations and have a commitment to its implementation
