About the role:
Due to rapid growth and a strong pipeline of client projects, we are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This varied role and would see you take on a range of tasks including:
- Infrastructure Architecture and Design
- Embed a standardised approach to infrastructure design
- Embed automation and monitoring across infrastructure platforms
- Contribute to incident, problem and change management processes
- Contribute to management of Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services platforms
- Establish and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation pipelines (Ansible, GitLab)
- Ensure Infrastructure services align with DISP and Essential 8 controls
- Conduct internal infrastructure reviews against compliance frameworks
About you:
- In-depth experience with Linux based operating systems (Red Hat, Debian, Ubuntu, etc)
- Experience in enterprise virtualisation
- Experience with automation platforms (Ansible, Puppet, etc)
- Skills in enterprise networking (Routing, subnetting, switch and firewall configuration)
- Knowledge of the hardening standards and security controls (E8, ISM, NIST, vendor specifics, etc)
- Experience with Git and source control such as GitLab, Bitbucket
- Experience in container platforms (Docker, PodMan, etc) (desirable)
- Scripting / programming skill (Powershell, Bash, Python, etc) (desirable)
- Experience in an enterprise Windows based environment (desirable)
Due to a requirement to be eligible for a security clearance, Australian Citizenship is required.
