Geotechnical Engineering Expert - Tailings Specialist
We are seeking an experienced geotechnical engineer to lead our team in tailings storage facility analysis and design. With a strong background in civil or geotechnical engineering and a minimum of 10 years' experience, you will be responsible for developing high-level and detailed designs to meet regulatory and project requirements.
* You will lead teams and explore innovation in tailings storage facility analysis and design.
* You will develop high-level and detailed designs to meet regulatory and project requirements.
* You will prepare design specifications, scope of works and schedules for construction.
* You will prepare reports and documentation, including design reports, interpretive geotechnical and laboratory reports, construction progress reports, audit and management review reporting.
Tailings storage facilities require innovative solutions to ensure compliance with stringent environmental regulations. You will work alongside well-respected engineers in a positive workplace culture to deliver creative solutions.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor of Civil or Geotechnical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years' geotechnical experience. You will be accustomed to interacting with clients and overseeing complex tailings projects, while delivering results-driven solutions.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards is essential. You will have the ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs.
