PAINTING TRADES PERSON
Revolution Paint and Panel are recruiting experienced and qualified Painting Trades Person for our industrial workshop in Narangba. Our workshop provides spray painting, sandblasting and panel beating – specialising in industrial machinery.
Brand current booths recently fitted. Some of our frequent work includes mining and industrial equipment, insurance and truck smash repairs, and fleet refinishing.
Responsibilities
* Spray painting industrial machinery
* Prepping, sanding and cleaning vehicle/equipment to be painted
* Colour matching/ paint mixing
Qualifications
* Experience painting industrial machinery
* Qualified industrial spray painter
* Reliable and punctual
* Ability to work under pressure
* Panel beating experience is preferred but not required
* Attention to detail
* Consistent accurate workmanship
* Own PPE/tools – comfortable working at heights
* Understand surface preparation and finishes
* Be able to understand and complete works to specifications
* Be able to mix to correct ratio two‐part paint coatings etc.
* Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays and rollers
* Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness
* Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
* Erecting scaffolding and ladders
* Cleaning equipment and work areas
Salary: Between $70,000 and $75,000 per annum + Super
