The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function and partner closely with the CFO and senior stakeholders. You will play a key role in financial management, reporting, compliance and continuous improvement across the Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor the Finance Team (Finance Assistant & Financial Officer)
* Deliver monthly financial reporting, insights and analysis
* Manage budgets, forecasting and cash flow
* Oversee financial acquittals, project costing and payroll audits
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit and reporting requirements
* Manage audit, insurance and risk processes
* Support program managers with financial understanding and performance
* Prepare reports for the Board and Finance Committee
* Drive process improvements, controls and cost efficiencies
* Oversee investment management and treasury activities
About You
Essential:
* Degree in Accounting + CA/CPA qualified
* 5+ years' experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
* Strong financial reporting, modelling, budgeting & forecasting skills
* Solid understanding of accounting standards and compliance
* Proven leadership and team management experience
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
* Experience with TechnologyOne (CiA)
* Background in not-for-profit / community services
* Experience in process improvement and transformation
