Fleet Operations Coordinator
Overview of Role:
This role involves coordinating the operations of vehicles for pickup and delivery of customer products. It requires effective communication with drivers to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop efficient fleet solutions that meet commercial and operational imperatives
* Communicate with drivers to ensure tasks are completed on time and in line with customer expectations and safety guidelines
* Escalate service or safety incidents to supervisor as needed
* Develop utilisation and deployment plans that reflect real-time fleet capability
* Update KPI dashboards communicated to key stakeholders within the business
* Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Previous experience in scheduling/allocating within transport/logistics is highly desirable, as well as knowledge of rail, road, and coastal transport operations including administration processes.
