About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive mental health psychological services to Indigenous clients and their families as a member of a multidisciplinary primary health care team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work collaboratively with a clinical team to facilitate efficient, responsive, and integrated mental health services to clients.
2. Utilize advanced specialist knowledge and skills in comprehensive mental health and suicide risk assessment, clinical formulation, and decision-making.
3. Manage an appropriate caseload with effective time management and prioritisation skills, including clinical and non-clinical responsibilities.
4. Participate actively in professional and multidisciplinary team meetings, including clinical case conferences.
5. Use high-level communication and interpersonal skills to achieve optimal client and service delivery outcomes.
About You
* You must hold a Bachelor of Psychology and current APHRA Registration.
* You should also possess a Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD) and Current Disability Screening Worker Check (Yellow Card).
* Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and/or communities is desirable but not mandatory.
