About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our WA team as Head of Operations Support. In this pivotal role, you will lead frontline administrative and volunteer functions to enable safe, efficient, and effective service delivery across Western Australia.
Reporting to the Director, Commercial and Optimisation WA, you will drive operational excellence through leadership of teams, processes, and initiatives that support risk mitigation, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement. This is a full-time permanent role offering 76 hours per fortnight.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead operational support functions across WA, including administration, fleet and consumables, property management, onboarding support, document services, and event coordination.
* Develop and lead the Operations Support Leadership team to deliver consistent, high-quality services aligned with business needs.
* Oversee Volunteer Services to deliver a meaningful program that supports service delivery and organisational objectives.
* Initiate and manage projects that enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
* Build strategic relationships with enabling functions and service delivery teams across health and aged care.
* Identify and resolve operational risks, and partner with senior leaders to implement performance improvement initiatives.
* Prepare reports, briefing papers, and business cases to support optimisation and improvement.
About You
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or minimum 5 years' senior operational management experience.
* Proven ability to lead operational initiatives and manage complex, fast-paced environments.
* Strong project management skills across all phases of the project lifecycle.
* Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and lead teams effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams to achieve organisational goals.
* Proficiency in MS Office and related software.
