The role will provide direct autonomous leadership and supervision to frontline operators.Role Responsibilities:Own the scorecard for the production area and drive improvement.
The scorecard includes KPIs for Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Morale.Drive change through Lean Manufacturing systems such Autonomous Maintenance, Focused Improvement and Progressive Maintenance together with a Governance system.Manage cost for their area include wastage, overtime, consumables etc.Engage, energize, enable and empower people to form a High Performance Team.Build effective relationships with direct reports to spot and develop talents, but also recover low performers through coaching and mentoringInitiate disciplinary actions when needed.Build effective relationships with all support areas: Safety, Quality, Engineering and Planning to aid identification of key improvement areas across production lines.Have strong influencing, training, and stakeholder management skills.Ensure labor, including indirect support labor, is always appropriately engaged, focused, and prioritized with the changing needs of the production environment.Manage operational efficiency including managing leave and timekeeping of frontline operators, ensuring effective manpower is always maintained.Lead focused improvement activities and deliver agreed results.What you will need to succeedDemonstrated experience leading teams across different shifts.Experiences & QualificationsDemonstrated experience in Lean Manufacturing systems like Autonomous Maintenance, Focused Improvement, Progressive Maintenance, Early Equipment Management.
Experience working in sites where WCM, IL6S, IWS has been implemented would be preferred.Experience leading the execution of manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, performance and cost objectives and key results.Experience with Budget management and track record of driving cost down and efficiency up.Experience in Project Management & achieving timeline deadlines.SkillsHigh level of initiative.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Exceptional analytical, planning and problem solving.
